Unions fights fascists
New, special episode of Public Health is for Everyone, something that is personal to me and also critical in times under this regime. In this episode, my co-worker Emily and I talk about the common concerns union-hesitate people voice when we are engaging them about unionizing. Hopefully this episode can be used as a resource for those trying to unionize their workplace.
Unions are the backbone of the working class and labor rights. It is also, something that those seeking to exploit the masses (like fascists) fear. I believe it is our moral duty to do what we can to reject the far right's assault on our government and country. Unlike the stuff happening at the federal level which can feel abstract and too far away, unionizing your workplace is something that is right next to us. This is the type of small battles that we as individuals and contribute to in the fight against authoritarianism. Fight fascism, join a union today.
